GOLDSMID HOUSE – CLADDING REPLACEMENT

The works comprised the renewal of the rainscreen cladding to the front elevation of exisitng students accomodation.

 

HMP were required to remove the existing cladding which was found to incorporate combustible materials.

 

Undertaken as a Design and Build contract, replacement cladding incorporating non combustible components were installed to meet current Building Regulations.

 

The new copper external skin had to match the existing finish including the spacing and location of joints.
